How to take contacts out of the call queue

VanillaSoft offers a variety of ways to control your call queue.  The most common way is to utilize the Contact Management area to build a query and update the contacts.

If you want to take contacts out of the call queue temporarily, you may "unflag" them by:

  1. Login as Admin
  2. Select project
  3. Select Contact Management
  4.  Build a New Query - build a query that returns the contacts you wish to take out of the call queue
  5. Run this query
  6. Go to Perform Task
  7. Select Unflag Contacts

If you want to take contacts out of the call queue permanently, you may "Close" them by:

  1. Login as Admin
  2. Select Project
  3. Select Contact Management
  4.  Build a New Query - build a query that returns the contacts you wish to take out of the call queue
  5. Add the field called ClosedFlag to your query
  6. Run Query
  7. Go to Perform Task
  8. Select Update Contacts
  9. Check the box next to ClosedFlag
  10. Select the value "True" from the drop down menu
  11. Click Update
