How to set up recording with VanillaSoft VoIP phone lines (ConnectMe Voice) and softphones

To set up recording with VanillaSoft VoIP phone lines (ConnectMe Voice): 

Step 1: Configure User in VanillaSoft

  1. Login to VanillaSoft as an Admin
  2. Go to Users
  3. Go to Manage User Licenses
  4. Check the box for Call Recording for the corresponding User
  5. Save
  6. Select the User name to go to User edit page
  7. Enter their VanillaSoft phone number into the Work Phone field including the preceding 1.
  8. In Dialing Information section select SIP and choose ConnectMeVoiceSoftphone from the menu
  9. Save

Step 2:  Configure the phone line 

  1. Login to Admin's Phone Line account through www.connectmevoice.com
  2. Go to Control Panel
  3. Check Call Recording
  4. From the drop down select Record All Calls
  5. Update
