How to set up Preview (click-to-dial) vs Progressive Dialing

To set up Preview (click-to-dial) vs Progressive Dialing by Project:

  1. Login as an Admin
  2. Select Project
  3. Go To Dialing & Recording
  4. Select the desired dialing type in Dialing field
  5. Save

Note: When set to Progressive dialing, the phone number will be automatically dialed when a new contact is routed. When set to Preview dialing, the caller clicks on the phone number to initiate dialing.

To set up Preview (click-to-dial) vs Progressive Dialing by User:

User's will automatically default to the Project setting enabled as set in the directions above.  You may override this project default by individual User by:

  • As an Admin going to the User Edit page and choosing the desired dialing type in Dialing field and Save OR
  • As a Caller going to Dialing Info page and choosing desired dialing type in Dialing field and Save
