Why isn't my auto-dialing working?

First check with your VanillaSoft Administrator to make sure that you have a dialing license and that you have a compatible phone provider and phone device that integrates with VanillaSoft. Next make sure your Dialing Info is set-up.

To set up Dialing Info:

  1. Login as a Caller
  2. Go to click your username to link to your Profile page
  3. Select Dialing Info
  4. Select TAPI or SIP
  5. Select Phone Provider or if using generic Counterpath Softphone Device (X-Lite, eyeBaem or Bria)
  6. Data enter phone credentials
  7. Save Changes

Next, make sure all Test Controls for Vanillasoft pass.

To run the Test Controls:

  1. Login as a Caller
  2. Go to click your username to link to your Profile page
  3. Select Test Controls
  4. If you are prompted to accept the Active -X installation please respond Yes.

Also verify that there are no add-ons installed in the browser that may interfere with dialing.
