How can I reopen closed contacts to call again?

Closed contacts in VanillaSoft must be reopened before they can be brought back into the calling queue.  To re-open closed contacts:

  1. Login as an Admin
  2. Select your Project
  3. Go to Contact Management (under Contacts and Reports)
  4. Go to Build a New Query
  5. Select the criteria that brings up the closed contacts that you would like to reopen. Be sure to include the ClosedFlag field in the query.
  6. Run Query
  7. Go to Perform Task
  8. Select Update Contacts
  9. Check the box next to the ClosedFlag field and set the value to False
  10. Update

The contacts are now open.  To "Flag" these contacts to be placed into the Call Queue:

  1. Go to Perform Task
  2. Select Flag Contacts 
  3. OK
Your contacts have now been "Opened" and "Flagged".  They will now route automatically.
