Recording is only compatible with Internet Explorer. To set up recording with Skype:
Step 1: Set up VanillaSoft

Login as Caller

Go to Test Controls (Make sure to “Always Allow Pop-ups from this site” and that every item passes)

Go to Internet Explorer's Tools

Go to Internet Options
-
Go to Security then Trusted Sites

In the “Add this website to the zone” box put in https://*.vanillasoft.net and Add

Close

Go to Custom Level and scroll down until you see Initialize and script ActiveX controls safe for scripting, Click on Enable

Click on OK, Apply and then on OK again

Refresh the screen and install any prompts
Step 2: Set up Skype
- Download Skype from www.skype.com
- Install Pamela Professional (http://www.pamela-systems.com/products/)
- To Enable recording: Go to Tools ->Options -> Call Recording -> General, and confirm/enable the following settings:
- Enable call recording
- [if you don’t want a “record warning message and beep”, you can disable it here]
- Automatically record outbound calls
- Automatically record inbound calls
- Go to Tools - Options - General - General, and confirm/enable the following settings:
- Enable “Automatically start on Windows start up”
- Enable “Hide to system tray at Pamela startup”
- Disable “Bring to front after new message saved”
- Click OK
Step 3: Set the Pamela Recording Path inside VanillaSoft
- Log in as a Caller
- Go to the Dialing Info
- In Dialing Information # Recording Path, select Pamela
- Save
You are now ready to test recording:
- Go to contact page
- Click and call on a test phone number
- Say something to test audio
- Result the call with a result code that will save the recording
To LIsten to recording:
- Login as an admin
- Select Project
- Go to Audio Review (under Dialing & Recording)
- Select Result Code used for test call
- Click on recording to Listen
