Internet Explorer - Error Message - "The Recording file could not be processed."

To fix, :The recording file could not be processed" in Internet Explorer 7.0:

First, make sure that you have ended your call and stopped the phone from recording.  If that is not the case, make sure you have rights to read/write to this folder: C:\Users\Brb\AppData\Local\Temp\Low\9524\30870\3132012\


Do the following:

  1. Open Internet Explorer 7.

  2. From the Internet Explorer 7 command bar, choose Tools and then Internet Options.

  3. In the Internet Options window, click on the Security tab.

  4. Below the Security level for this zone area, and directly above the Custom level... and Default level buttons, uncheck the Enable Protected Mode checkbox.

    Note: Disabling Protected Mode requires a restart of Internet Explorer 7, as you may have seen next to the checkbox in this step.

  5. Click OK on the Internet Options window.

  6. If you're prompted with a Warning! dialog box, advising that The current security settings will put your computer at risk., click the OK button.

  7. Close Internet Explorer 7 and then open it up again.
