Your Access Code is essential for accessing voicemails and recording message drops on your VoIP profile. When your VoIP line was set up, this code was emailed to you along with your VS Connect credentials. If you can't find the email or the access code is incorrect, contact our Technical Support team for assistance. They can resend the setup email with your current Access Code. To change your access code, follow these steps:
- Log in to the VanillaSoft VoIP portal.
- Open the Extension Manager section.
- Find and select the desired extension.
- Once selected, click Update Selected.
- Enter your desired Access Code in the Voicemail Password field.
- Note: Although Access Codes can be 4-8 alphanumeric case-sensitive characters, we recommend a simple password consisting of only numbers. This way, you can check your voicemails directly from your phone.
- Once done, click Save.
Your Access Code has been successfully updated. You can verify this by accessing your voicemail and entering your new Access Code when prompted.
