Unable to Log In

If you are a new user and this is your first time trying to log in to your VanillaSoft profile, both your username and password would be the email address you used to register. 

Note: Usernames are not case-sensitive but passwords are. 

If you are still not able to log in to your VanillaSoft profile, it could be due to a few different reasons. When trying to log in, if you see a message stating "The username or password you supplied is invalid. Please try again." than the most common reasons are: 

- Username has changed
- Password has changed
- Account was deactivated or deleted


How to change password

If you are not sure what your password is, you will need to change it. You can do this by following these steps: 

1. Go to Vanillasoft.net.
2. Click "Forgot your password?"
3. Enter your current username.
4. Click "Reset my Password".

A temporary password will be emailed to the email address listed in your profile. We suggest manually typing the temporary password out to prevent accidentally copying any additional characters during the copying and pasting process. The password is case-sensitive so make sure you are typing it exactly how you see it.

If the temporary password still doesn't allow you to log in, you will need to reach out to your administrator to verify that your account is active and that you are using the proper username.
