How To Enable/Disable Smart Caller ID

Once Smart Caller ID has been added to your account (find out how to do this by viewing the article How Does Smart Caller ID Work), each user has the option to enable or disable this feature for their own individual profile. 


How to enable/disable Smart Caller ID:

1. Go to your VanillaSoft VoIP portal.
2. Enter your 11-digit VanillaSoft VoIP line number, extension if applicable, and password (access code).
3. From the left-hand menu, select Administration and then Caller ID.
4. Now go into the Extension Caller ID tab at the top of the page.
5. From here, you can check or uncheck the Enable Smart Caller ID box as desired.
6. Once this is done, click Save and the changes will take effect.

If at any point you would like to revert these changes, you can do so by following the steps again and making the necessary changes.
