If you find your VanillaSoft or Google/Outlook 365 calendar is missing appointments, either are taking a long time to update, or are just having general issues with the synchronization between your calendars, you may need to re-establish the synchronization. Removing then re-establish the synchronization fixes most issues related to a loss of communication between your calendars.
Step 1 - Remove Synchronization
The first step would be to remove the current synchronization. This will remove any connection between the 2 calendars, including the events from one calendar to the other. These events will be restored in the second step listed below. Brief instructions on how to do this are as follows:
- Go to your Calendar Integration section in your profile.
- Click the Remove Google Authorization or Remove Outlook Authorization button.
- Click Confirm to remove the synchronization

Step 2 - Re-Establish Synchronization
The second and final step would be to re-establish the synchronization between your two calendars. This will establish a new synchronization, and should enter all existing and future events back into both calendars. Brief instructions on how to do this are as follows:
- Go to your Calendar Integration section in your profile.
- Select the Calendar Provider to synchronize, either Google or Outlook.
- Follow the steps from the Calendar Integration wizard.
