Using Contact Variables to personalize your call scripts allows for a more natural flow when talking to a contact. This guide will walk you through the steps to insert Contact Variables into your call scripts, enhancing your communication effectiveness.

Types of Contact Variables

Contact Fields: Includes all available default and custom fields related to the contact.

User Fields: Examples include the user’s first name, phone number, and email address.

Phone Fields: Examples include business or mobile phone numbers.

Other Info Fields: Examples include website URLs and other custom fields.

Call History Fields: Examples include the last call date and last result.
Steps to Insert a Contact Variable into a Call Script

Select Project: From the Admin homepage, select the desired project where you want to modify the call script.

Access Call Scripts: Open the Field Customization menu, then navigate to the Call Scripts sub-menu and select Call Scripts.

Choose the Call Script: Open the Selected Call Script drop-down menu and select the call script you want to edit.

Select a SubScript: From the SubScripts list, choose the SubScript you want to modify.

Place the Contact Variable: In the SubScript Text section, click where you want the Contact Variable to appear.

Insert Contact Variable: Click the Insert Contact Variable button.

Choose the Contact Variable: From the Insert Contact Variables list, select the Contact Variable you want to use.

Save Changes: Once you have inserted the Contact Variable, click Save to apply the changes.
