As an Administrator, you can Export Contacts into a CSV file for external management of your Contacts. Using Contact Management, you can build a custom list of Contacts with an assortment of chosen Fields and Filters, and then download a CSV file to your computer.
How to Export Contacts Using a Query
- Log in to VanillaSoft as an Admin.
- Select the desired Project.
- Under Contacts & Reports, click on Contact Management.
- If you want to build your Query from scratch, click Build a New Query.
- If you have a saved Query, click Select This Query, then Edit This Query.
- If you have a saved Query, click Select This Query, then Edit This Query.
- Add any Fields that you wish to view in your Query.
- Set the Filter and Value for each desired Field as needed.
- Once each Field has the Filters and Values set as desired, click Run Query.
- The query will then display the Query Results.
- Click on Perform Task and then Export Results.
- If desired, open the Export Date Format drop-down then select the preferred date format.
- Once done, click Export Contacts to download the file.
