VanillaSoft is pleased to offer integration with 8x8 VoIP, providing our customers with an alternative option for making calls directly from the VanillaSoft platform. This allows you to use your existing 8x8 VoIP account to make calls directly from VanillaSoft with ease. Here's a simple guide to help you set up 8x8 VoIP within VanillaSoft.

Before You Start

• Please note that this integration does not support features like Voicemail Drop, SMS, inbound pop-up, and call recording.
• To use this integration, ensure your 8x8 plan is X6 or X8. You can find more details here.
• Remember to log into your 8x8 account and keep both 8x8 and VanillaSoft open in the same browser while making calls for a smooth experience.

Setting Up a User's Profile for 8x8 as an Admin

1. Access Users: From the admin homepage, click on Users at the top.
2. Select User: Choose the user you wish to configure.
3. VoIP Line Configuration: Go to the VoIP Line Configuration tab.
4. Choose Provider: Select Other VoIP Providers.
5. Select 8x8: From the Line Provider drop-down, choose 8x8.
6. Enter Login Phone Number: Input the user's 8x8 VCC login phone number.
7. Enable Auto-Dialing: Check the Auto-Dialing checkbox if you want to enable click-to-dial.
8. Configure Dialing Options: If Auto-Dialing is enabled, set up the Dialing, Dialing From, and Pre-Dial options as needed.
9. Save Changes: Click Save.

1. Access Profile: Click on your username in the top-right corner.
2. VoIP Line Configuration: Open the VoIP Line Configuration tab.
