Blocking specific numbers or area codes from calling you can help reduce distractions, prevent spam, and protect your team from unwanted communications. This feature is particularly useful in maintaining the efficiency and security of your business communications environment. This functionality is only available when using a VanillaSoft VoIP account.
Steps to Block Incoming Calls:

Access the VoIP Portal: Log into your VanillaSoft VoIP portal using your credentials.

Navigate to Number Blocking: From the main dashboard, open the 'Administration' menu located on the left side and select 'Number Blocking'.

Initiate Block Setup: Click the "+Add a blocked number or area code" button to start setting up a new block.

Determine Block Scope: Choose whether you want to block the number for the specific "Extension" you are logged in to or for the entire "Account".

Specify Block Type: Decide if you are blocking a specific "Phone #" or an entire "Area Code".

Enter the Number or Area Code: Type the phone number or area code you wish to block into the text field provided.

Save the Block: Click 'Save' to finalize the blocking process.
Once saved, the blocked number or area code will appear in the blocked list. You can review this list anytime to manage or remove blocks if necessary.
