If you're logging in for the first time after signing up for VanillaSoft, follow these steps:

1. Use Your Email Address: Enter your email address as both your username and password.
2. Check Caps Lock: Make sure caps lock is not activated, as passwords are case-sensitive.
3. Match Registration Details: If you used capital letters in your email address during registration, replicate that when using it as your password.

If you can't remember your password, here's how to reset it:

1. Select Forgot Password: From the VanillaSoft login page, click on the "Forgot Your Password" option.
2. Enter Username: Input your current username and click "Reset My Password."
3. Check Your Email: Look for an email with a temporary password, sent to the email address listed in the "Notification Email Address" field of your profile. (An Admin may need to verify the address listed.)
4. Log In with Temporary Password: Return to the VanillaSoft Login page, enter your username and the temporary password, and click "Login."
5. Set New Password: You should be prompted to create a new password once logged in.

Remember to check your spam/junk folder if you don't receive the email in your inbox.

Experiencing login issues from a new location? Your Admin may have set IP restrictions. Here's what to do:

1. Contact Your Admin: Reach out to your Admin to add your IP address to the allowed list or to the Users with no IP restrictions list.
