This guide shows Admins how to use VanillaSoft's re-flagging feature to reconnect with contacts who aren't currently in the calling queue. Re-flagging can help you:
- Follow up with qualified leads: Reach out to interested contacts who need more time to decide.
- Prioritize previously flagged contacts: Move contacts with a future follow-up date to the top of the queue for immediate outreach.
Before You Begin
- Only Admins can re-flag contacts.
Steps to Re-Flag a Contact
- Log in as an Admin and select the Project containing the contacts.
- Open the Contacts & Reports menu and select Contact Management.
- Build Your Query:
- Click Build a New Query or choose an existing saved query.
- Select the fields you want to use for filtering (hold Ctrl/Command to select multiple).
- Move chosen fields to Selected Fields area using the right arrow button.
- Set up any additional filters needed using the Filter and Value drop-downs.
- Click Run Query to display results.
- Re-flag the Contacts
- Click Perform Task once results load.
- Select Flag Contacts from the menu.
- Confirm and Re-flag
- A confirmation message will appear. Click Confirm to proceed.
- You'll see a "Flagging Completed" pop-up. Click Close to finish.
Your contacts are now re-flagged and added back to the calling queue. More information on queries can be found in the Update Contacts Using a Contact Management Query article.
Important Notes
- Contacts marked as "Closed" cannot be re-flagged. See the Reopening Closed Contacts in VanillaSoft article for instructions on reopening them.
- Re-flagging automatically prioritizes contacts, making them available for immediate outreach.
By following these steps, you can effectively re-engage with valuable contacts and keep your VanillaSoft pipeline moving forward.
