You now have the ability to unsubscribe a Contact's email address from future emails. Unsubscribing a Contact's email address can be done on both the Caller and Admin side of VanillaSoft. However, Callers do not have the ability to resubscribe that Contact as that is an Admin-only feature. If a Contact's email address needs to be resubscribed, please refer to the Resubscribe a Contact section below.

Unsubscribe a Contact as an Admin
- Log in to VanillaSoft as an Admin.

- Select the desired Project.

- Open the Contacts & Reports menu and select the Search Contacts section.

- Enter the search criteria in the applicable fields.

- Once you have entered the search criteria, click Search.

- From the list of results, click the Contact Icon.

- Check the Email Unsubscribed checkbox.

- Once done, click Save.

Unsubscribe a Contact as a Caller
- Log in to VanillaSoft as a Caller.

- Enter the search criteria in the search field, and hit Enter.

- From the list of results, click the Contact Icon.

- Click Edit at the top of the first panel.

- Check the Email Unsubscribed checkbox.

- Once done, click Save.

Resubscribe a Contact
- Log in to VanillaSoft as an Admin.

- Select the desired Project.

- Open the Contacts & Reports menu and select the Search Contacts section.

- Enter the search criteria in the applicable fields.

- Once you have entered the search criteria, click Search.

- From the list of results, click the Contact Icon.

- Uncheck the Email Unsubscribed checkbox.

- Once done, click Save.
