You can configure your Poly deskphone to connect with Vanillasoft VoIP by updating the provisioning settings. Follow the steps below to set up the device.

- Navigate to Status > Network > TCP/IPV4.
- Write down the phone’s IP address (you will need it in the next step).
Step 2: Access the Phone Webpage - Click to expand.
- Open a browser on your computer.
- In the address bar, enter:
https://[IPADDRESS], replacing [IPADDRESS] with the one from Step 1. - If prompted, accept any security warnings to continue.
Step 3: Update Provisioning Settings - Click to expand.
- In the Poly Webpage, go to Settings > Provisioning.
- Enter the following details:
- Server Type: HTTP
- Server Address:
p.cmvvoip.com/pc - Server User: Your extension number
- Server Password: Your device password
- To find the Device Password, log in to Clarity > Devices, select the extension, and look for Password.
- Save the changes.
Troubleshooting - Click to expand.
- Cannot access the phone webpage? Make sure your computer is on the same network as the phone and that you entered the correct IP address from Step 1.
- Page shows a security warning? This is normal when connecting directly to a device. Choose the option to proceed or “accept risk.”
- Provisioning fails after saving? Double-check the server address (
p.cmvvoip.com/pc), extension number, and device password. A typo in any of these fields will prevent connection. - Forgot the device password? Log in to Clarity, go to Devices, select the extension, and copy the password.
- Still not working? Restart the phone after saving settings. If issues continue, reach out to your IT team or Vanillasoft Support.
Once the provisioning settings are saved, the phone will begin downloading its configuration from the Vanillasoft VoIP servers. This process may take a few minutes. After completion, your deskphone should be ready for use.
