Adding an SMS Tab to Your Caller's Page
Enhance the efficiency of your Callers by adding an SMS tab to their page layout. This feature allows them to send and receive SMS messages directly from the Contact's page, eliminating the need to navigate away from the page.
Add SMS Panel
- Access the Project: From the Admin homepage, select the desired project.
- Navigate to Page Layout: Open the Page Layout menu and select the Panel Layout section.
- Select SMS Tab: Open the Available Tabs drop-down and choose SMS.
- Choose Panel: Open the panel drop-down and select the desired panel for the SMS tab.
- Add the Tab: Click Add to include the SMS tab in the Caller's page layout.
- Save Changes: Click Save to apply the new settings.
Note: If the SMS panel is added but not visible on the Contact's page, it's likely because there is no SMS history for this Contact. The SMS panel will appear once a message has been sent or received.
After saving the changes, Callers may need to refresh their page or log out and log back in to see the new SMS tab. This addition will make it easier and quicker for them to communicate with contacts via SMS without leaving the Contact's page
