Call Screening allows you to manage unwanted incoming calls from specific numbers by automatically routing them to voicemail, sending a busy signal, or letting them ring without answer. This feature helps reduce interruptions from spam calls, telemarketers, or other unwanted contacts while ensuring legitimate calls reach you. Call screening rules are managed through the Vanillasoft VoIP portal and apply automatically once configured.
Once you create a call screening rule, incoming calls from the specified numbers will be handled according to your preferences without requiring any manual intervention. This ensures your phone remains accessible to important contacts while filtering out unwanted callers.

Best Practices
-
Use descriptive names for call screening rules to make them easy to identify and manage later.
-
Test call screening rules with a known number to ensure they work as expected before relying on them for important filtering.
-
Review your call screening rules periodically to remove outdated entries and ensure they remain relevant.
- Choose the Voicemail/Message option if you want to keep a record of blocked calls for later review.
Your call screening rule is now active and will automatically handle incoming calls from the specified number according to your preferences. For additional support, contact Vanillasoft Support.
