Removing a Contact from Your Routing Queue
VanillaSoft offers a variety of ways to control your call queue. The most common way is to utilize the Contact Management area to build a query and update the contacts.
If you want to take contacts out of the call queue temporarily, you may "unflag" them by:
- Login as Admin
- Select project
- Select Contact Management
- Build a New Query - build a query that returns the contacts you wish to take out of the call queue
- Run this query
- Go to Perform Task
- Select Unflag Contacts
If you want to take contacts out of the call queue permanently, you may "Close" them by:
- Login as Admin
- Select Project
- Select Contact Management
- Build a New Query - build a query that returns the contacts you wish to take out of the call queue
- Add the field called ClosedFlag to your query
- Run Query
- Go to Perform Task
- Select Update Contacts
- Check the box next to ClosedFlag
- Select the value "True" from the drop down menu
- Click Update
