How to Set or Reset Your Salesforce Security Token
In order to setup integrations between VanillaSoft and Salesforce you need to provide your Salesforce Security Token. What's a security token? It's a case-sensitive alphanumeric code that's tied to your Salesforce password.
Instructions
- Login to Salesforce.
- Click "My Settings"
- Expand Personal section and click "Reset my security token"
- Click "Reset Security Token"
Your new security token will be sent to your account email address. Save this in a secure location!
CAUTION!
After you reset your token or if you change your Salesforce password, you can't use your old token in API applications and desktop clients. You must update the Salesforce Credentials section of Salesforce Integrations inside VanillaSoft with this new token.
