How to Find Your VS Connect Credentials
Your VS Connect credentials are essential for accessing the VoIP phone software, VS Connect. They differ from your VanillaSoft.net login credentials, as they are only used to use the integrated VS Connect softphone from within VanillaSoft. What Are VS Connect Credentials?
VS Connect is a VoIP phone software integrated with VanillaSoft, designed to streamline communication processes. Your VS Connect credentials consist of a username and password derived from your VoIP phone number.
Username Format:
- Without Extension: [Your 11-digit VoIP phone number]@vanillasoft.com
- With Extension: [Your 11-digit VoIP phone number].[Your extension]@vanillasoft.com
Password Format:
- Without Extension: [Your 11-digit VoIP phone number]
- With Extension: [Your 11-digit VoIP phone number].[Your extension]
Example:
If your VanillaSoft VoIP phone number is (972) 200-0179, and your extension is 123, your credentials would be:
- Without Extension:
- Username: 19722000179@vanillasoft.com
- Password: 19722000179
- With Extension:
- Username: 19722000179.123@vanillasoft.com
- Password: 19722000179.123
Finding Your VanillaSoft VoIP Phone Number
Instructions for Admin
While logged in to VanillaSoft, click on your username in the top-right corner.
Open the VoIP Line Configuration tab.
- Your assigned number will be listed in the VanillaSoft VoIP Line field.
Instructions for Caller
While logged in to VanillaSoft, click on your username in the top-right corner.
Open the VoIP Line Configuration tab.
- Your assigned number will be listed in the VanillaSoft VoIP Line field.
If You Don't Have a VoIP Configuration
If you cannot find any VoIP configuration within VanillaSoft, an administrator with Account Administrative permissions must follow the steps outlined in the Create a VanillaSoft VoIP Line for User article to assign a VoIP line to you.
