Change Your VoIP Access Code (Voicemail PIN)
Your Access Code is the numeric password used with your Vanillasoft VoIP line. You use it to sign in when checking voicemail and to confirm identity on supported devices. Follow the steps below to view or change your Access Code in the Vanillasoft VoIP portal.
Change Your Vanillasoft VoIP Access Code
Log in to the Vanillasoft VoIP portal.
- If you do not know your portal credentials, contact your administrator.
From the left navigation, open Telephony.
Select Voicemail.
In the search area, enter your Extension and click Search.
- Your Extension is your internal voicemail number, not your direct phone number.
In the results, click your Extension to open its details.
- If you see multiple entries, choose the one assigned to your user profile.
Click Edit in the top right.
Enter your new numeric Access Code, then re-enter it to confirm.
- The Access Code must be numbers only and between 3 and 64 digits.
- Avoid simple sequences like 0000 or 1234 for better security.
- Click Save to apply the change.
- After saving, the page refreshes and returns to the General tab.
Your Access Code is updated. Use this code when checking voicemail or when prompted on supported phones and apps. If you cannot sign in after changing the code, confirm your extension and try again, then contact your administrator if needed.
