Salesforce Object Mapping: Activities Configuration
When configuring a Salesforce Object Mapping, you can create open Tasks and Events in Salesforce, as well as pass Call History data to Salesforce as logged Activities.
Note: All historical Call History entries are represented as closed Tasks in Salesforce.
Salesforce Object Mapping: Activities Configuration
- Log in to VanillaSoft as an Admin.
- Select the desired Project.
- Under Integration, click on Salesforce Integrations.
- Select the desired Integration.
- Go to Activities (Tasks/Events).
- Check the box for "Call-Backs" or "Appointments" to enable.
- Once enabled, select Task or Event.
- Check the box Enable Call History Export to send Call History details to Salesforce.
- By default, it will create an Activity entry only for the corresponding Result Code trigger.
- If all Call History is being sent to Salesforce, click on Send entire Call History.
- This includes Call History not sent through Tasks or Events into Salesforce.
- When done, click on Save.
