Are the contacts B2B or B2C?
All contacts are U.S.-based business contacts only.
What is an SIC code?
The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is a system for classifying industries by a four-digit code. Established in the United States in 1937, it is used by government agencies to classify industry areas. The SIC code for an establishment (that is, a workplace with a U.S. address), was determined by the industry appropriate for the overall largest product lines of the company or organization of which the establishment was a part.
Can I get a sample of the data?
No. VanillaSoft does not provide sample data. However, previewing up to 25 contacts without purchasing or using any credits is possible. Previewing more than 25 contacts is not possible. The Contact Preview will display:
- First name
- Phone number (partial)
- Email (partial)
What delivery rate should I expect?
We verify each contact's email address before it is downloaded. As a result, you should experience a 90% successful delivery rate on email addresses.
What data values do I get with each contact?
- Wireless Phone or Landline Phone (Best phone number will be given based on real-time verification)
Do you replace invalid contacts?
No, invalid contacts are not replaced. We validate the email address and phone number of each contact before downloading. Credits will only be used for contacts that you download.
Are all emails business domains or free email domains (such as Gmail, Outlook, etc.)?
All emails are business domains.
How do you verify contacts?
We use 3rd parties for email and phone validation at the time of download. We also have an internal data team that verifies data, giving a multi-level verification process before downloading.
How often do you verify contacts?
Whenever contacts are purchased, we verify each contact before downloading. Additionally, we run verifications each quarter.
Do I get a credit back if a contact is a duplicate?
No. We cannot verify your existing database of contacts before downloading. However, we will ensure that you do not download the same contact twice.
Do the credits expire?
No. Once a credit is purchased, it will never expire as long as you have an active VanillaSoft subscription. If you need to put your account into a dormant period (max of 1 year), please contact our Sales team.
If I cancel my VanillaSoft subscription, can I still use my credits?
No. VanillaSoft's Purchase Contacts credits can only be used within VanillaSoft. If you need to put your account into a dormant period (max of 1 year), please contact our Sales team.
Are there any discounts?
Yes, discounts are applied with the purchase of larger bundles. To purchase larger bundles than what is available in the Purchase Credits section, please contact our Sales team.
Do you offer international data?
Yes, international data is available, but not in the advertised bundles. To purchase international data, please contact our Sales team for a custom data order.
