When configuring a Salesforce Object Mapping, you can choose what Custom Object VanillaSoft will send data through to Salesforce, and create Mappings so the information is stored correctly. For more information on Configuration, please refer to our Salesforce Object Mapping: Configuration article.
Note: Several default mappings exist for fields that are standard between Salesforce and VanillaSoft, though these mappings may be removed or changed as needed.
Salesforce Object Mapping: Custom Object Mapping
- Log in to VanillaSoft as an Admin.
- Select the desired Project.
- Under Integration, click on Salesforce Integrations.
- Select the desired Integration.
- Go to Salesforce Object Mapping and check the box Salesforce Object.
- Click on Select to choose a Custom Object.
- A pop up window will display a list of your Custom Objects.
- A pop up window will display a list of your Custom Objects.
- Select the desired Custom Object.
- Click on Edit Mapping.
- Click on VanillaSoft Field to choose the data to send from VanillaSoft.
- If No Field - Uses Default Value is selected, enter in a Default Value.
- When Mapping is done, click on Apply.
- If additional Update Keys are desired, check the box under 2nd Key.
- Note: If there are multiple 2nd Keys, the data in all fields must match the Lead being updated.
- When done, click on Save.
