Copying an existing project's settings saves significant time when creating a new project with similar configurations. This feature duplicates workflow settings, call scripts, web leads, page layouts, email templates, custom fields, saved queries, and reports to your new project. However, certain settings require manual configuration in the new project.
Understanding which settings copy and which do not helps you plan your project setup efficiently. This guide walks you through the copy process and lists all settings that need separate configuration.
Settings That Will Not Be Copied
The following settings must be configured separately in your new project:
- Contacts
- Result Code based email settings
- Result Code based SMS settings
- Email Drip settings
- Salesforce settings
- Zapier settings
- DocuSign settings
- Payment gateway settings
- Email and SMS notifications and reminder settings for appointments
- Outgoing Web Leads (Active Status Only)
- Project-based email and SMTP settings
- Searchable Menu field options
- Scheduled reports
- Export Contact Changes
