Attaching files directly to your email templates in VanillaSoft can save time and ensure consistency by avoiding the need to manually attach files each time you send an email. This feature is available when using VanillaSoft's Web Email Form. Note that emails sent using a desktop email application (a third-party application) cannot include pre-defined attachments. To attach a file to an email template, you must first have it saved in your Document Library. For steps on how to upload files, refer to the How to Add Files to Your VanillaSoft Document Library article.
Steps to Attach a File to an Email Template

Select Project: From the Admin homepage, select the desired project.
- Access Email Templates: Open the Email, SMS & Docs menu at the top and select the Email Templates section.
- Choose an Email Template:
- For an existing template, open the Email Template list drop-down and select an existing template.
- For a new template, click Add to begin creating a new template.
- Scroll to the Email Attachments Section: Locate the Email Attachments section within the template editor.
- Select Files to Attach: Choose the file(s) you want to attach from the Public Files in Documents Library list.
- Add the Files: Click the blue right-arrow to move the selected files to the Attached to this Email list.
- Save the Template: Click Save to save your changes.
