Assigning email templates to specific teams allows for better organization and targeted communication. Follow these steps to configure your email templates for different teams. For information on creating an email template, refer to the How To Create an Email Template article.
Steps to Assign Email Templates to Teams
- Log in as an Admin: From the Admin homepage, open the project you want to configure.
- Access Email Templates: Open the Email, SMS & Docs menu and select the Email Templates section.
- Select Template: Open the templates list and select the email template you'd like to assign to a team or teams.
- Assign Category: Open the Category drop-down and assign the email template to a specific category, which will be used to assign to the team(s).
- Add/Edit Categories: Click the Add/Edit Categories button.
- Assign to Teams: Beside the category that the email template is assigned to, open the Assign to Team(s) drop-down and select the desired team(s).
- Save Changes: Click Save to apply the changes.
By following these steps, you can efficiently assign email templates to different teams within VanillaSoft, ensuring that each team has access to the appropriate templates.
