How to Enable Incoming Call Notifications
Enabling Incoming Call Notifications in VanillaSoft allows Callers to see who is calling and access contact information before answering the call. This feature enhances personal greetings and improves workflow efficiency by displaying a window with the contact's details when a call is received. Note that this feature requires the incoming call to be from a contact in your VanillaSoft database and the Caller to be using a VanillaSoft VoIP phone line.
Steps to Enable Incoming Call Notifications
- Log in to VanillaSoft as an Admin: Access your VanillaSoft admin account.
- Access Account Settings: From the top menu, click on Account.
- Open Account Profile: By default, the Account Profile section should open. If it does not, click on Account Profile.
- Enable Notifications: Scroll down to the Account Options section and check the Incoming Call Notifications box.
- Save Changes: Once done, click Save.
By following these steps, you can enable Incoming Call Notifications, making it easier for Callers to greet contacts personally and handle calls more efficiently. If the feature does not function as expected, ensure that the incoming call is from a contact in your VanillaSoft database.
