Vanillasoft allows Callers to send emails directly to contacts from the dialing screen. You can start from a pre-built email template or compose a message from scratch. Once an email is sent, any replies from the contact will go to your connected email account and the conversation will continue there, outside of Vanillasoft.
Note: Emails can also be sent automatically when a Caller selects a Result Code that has been configured to trigger one. Check with your Admin to find out which Result Codes in your project are set up this way.
Send an Email to a Contact
-
Log in to Vanillasoft as a Caller.
- If you are logged in as an Admin, switch to Caller from the top menu.
-
From the contact's information, click the email icon next to the contact's email address.
-
A list of available email templates will appear. Select a template to use it as a starting point, or leave the selection blank to start from a blank email. Click Next.
-
The Compose Email page will open with the contact's name and email address, and your name and email address pre-populated. If you selected a template, any content from that template will also appear here.
-
Fill in any remaining details as needed, including a CC, Subject, and any attachments. Compose or edit the message in the text body.
- When you are ready, click Send.
Your email has been sent. Any replies from the contact will arrive in your connected email account's inbox and the conversation will continue there.
