Creating an Email Template in Vanillasoft
Email templates save time by letting you send professional, consistent messages to your contacts without writing the same email from scratch every time. Combined with Contact Variables, templates can be personalized automatically with contact-specific details like name, company, and phone number.
Note: The same template cannot be sent to the same contact more than once. If you need to send the same information again, create a second template or copy and paste the content into a new blank email.
Create an Email Template
Log in to Vanillasoft as an Admin.
- If you are logged in as a Caller, switch to Admin from the top menu.
Select the desired Project.
Open the Email, SMS & Docs menu and select Email Templates.
In the Manage Selected Email Template section, click Add.
Enter a name for the template in the Enter Email Template Name field.
Click Add.
Type or paste your message in the HTML Body or Plain Text Body field.
- Use Contact Variables to automatically personalize your template with contact-specific information.
When you are ready for Callers to use the template, check the Available to Callers checkbox.
- Click Save.
Your email template is now saved and will appear in the template list when Callers send an email to a contact.
Your email template is ready to use. To learn how to send it to a contact, refer to the How to Use an Email Template article. For additional support, contact Vanillasoft Support.
