Updating an Existing Contact's Information
As a Caller or Admin, you can edit Contacts in VanillaSoft by updating their fields and contact information. Callers can perform edits from the caller screen, and Admins can edit Contacts under Contacts & Reports and make batch edits using Contact Management. For more information on editing Contacts, please refer to our How To Update Contacts Using a Contact Management Query article.
Note: Editing Contacts is NOT reversible. All edits to Contacts are permanent once you click on Save.

Edit Contacts as an Admin
- Log in to VanillaSoft as an Admin.

- Select the desired Project.

- Under Contacts & Reports, click on Search Contacts.
- Type in the search criteria for the Contact you wish to edit, then click Search.

- Select the desired Contact by clicking on Open Contact.

- Enter information into all desired Fields.

- When done, click on Save.

Edit Contacts as a Caller
- Log in to VanillaSoft as a Caller.
- Type in the search criteria for the Contact you wish to edit, then click the Search button.

- Select the desired Contact by clicking on Open Contact.

- Click on Edit at the top left under the Menu.

- Enter information into all desired Fields.

- When done, click on Save.
