Defining Lead Source by Color

Defining each Lead Source by color in VanillaSoft helps you easily distinguish one from another while on the Contact screen. This visual differentiation saves time by allowing you to quickly identify where each Contact came from, without searching for the information. Once configured, the Lead Source will be highlighted in the selected color on the Caller side. For information on adding lead sources, refer to the How to Set Up Incoming Web Leads article.

Steps to Define Each Lead Source by Color

1. Select Project: From the Admin homepage, select the desired project.

2. Access Lead Source Settings: Open the Field Customization menu, then the Lead Source sub-menu, and select Lead Source.

3. Choose Lead Source Color:
   • Select the color box listed beside the Lead Source name.

   • Choose the desired color from the color picker.

4. Save Changes: Once you have selected the colors for each Lead Source, click Save.
