Obtaining call recordings is beneficial for training purposes or when you need to keep the recordings on file for an extended period of time. Follow the steps below to export recorded calls either individually or in bulk. Important Note
- Data Retention: Call recordings are saved for 60 days. If you need to save the recording for longer, you need to export the file and save it to your local computer. More information can be found in the Data Retention and Recovery article.
Steps to Export Call Recordings

Select Project: From the Admin homepage, select the desired project where the recording(s) reside.

Access Audio Review: Open the Dialing & Recording menu and select the Audio Review section.

Filter Search Criteria: Enter and check any search criteria you would like to filter by, then click Search.
- Export Recordings:
- To export an individual recording, click the download icon next to the recording.

To export all recordings, click the Export Recordings button.

Confirm Export: Click OK on the popup and follow the instructions listed in the email that you should receive shortly.
Saving the Recordings
Once you receive the email, you will be able to save the recordings as needed.
By following these steps, you can efficiently export call recordings from VanillaSoft for training or archival purposes. Ensure that you save important recordings to your local computer within 60 days to avoid data loss.
